a good time for a closure ritual is during the waning moon ie between now and new moon in a weeks time.
Here's a spell for letting a love go.
Fill a bottle with sacred water and hold your hand over it, all the while putting your goodbyes into it. Say everything you want to say. Pour your feelings into the water. When ready -take al the time you need - seal the bottle. Take it to a place of running water and pour it away. Ask that the soothing spirit of the water receive your hurt and that no hurt will be passed on.
Next,
cleanse yourself ritually, concentrating on letting the relationship go. You could run a bath and fill it with lavender and rose petals or whatever oils appeal most to you. Love and appreciate yourself. You are now ritually letting go of the relationship.
Once you are done pull the plug and let all the water drain away. As it does you are letting go of the relationship. Mentally complete with the relationship as the last drops of water disappear down the plughole. Then take your bottle of sacred water and bless your chakras by putting a drop of sacred water on each and sealing the action you have just performed. Start with the root chakra, then belly, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown. Bless each with a positive thought, 'I let go of X and heal',
If possible drink the rest of the sacred water as part of your completion ritual. Drink to the ending. In a sense all endings are beginnings. Good luck and blessed be.
